Realtek Rtl8188Ee 802.11Bgn Download And InstallI have asked once before and was told - and given the link to - download and install the latest driver, which I did exactly as told and it seemed to help for a couple of days.
At first it wasnt too bad and I have the HP Network Check Launcher as an extension which for about 95 of the time would fix the problem. Recently within the last two weeks, my Wi-Fi wont stay on more than 2 minutes much of the time. I came back and asked for help again on my original question a fortnight ago and NO ONE got back to me. Realtek Rtl8188Ee 802.11Bgn Upgrade To WindowsRealtek Rtl8188Ee 802.11Bgn Windows 8.1 OS AndAt my wits end, I came back this morning and actually found another person with my exact same problem He stated: I had bought this HP Pavillion computer with the Windows 8.1 OS and did the upgrade to Windows 10 when it came out. Nothing is wrong with our router, as all other electronic devices in the house are connecting to the internet just fine. It is located in the same room, and never had issues connecting to it before. I rolled back to Windows 8.1, made sure I had the latest adapter drivers, then rolled back to older versions, tried changing minor settings on the adapter (i.e. Power Management is unchecked). I uninstalled the driver and deleted the software, then restarted. Is there anything else I can try I use this computer for my business and need it to work. I have done nearly all the same apart from I cant roll back to Win8.1 because I stupidly flushed it when I installed Win10. I have gone through the boards reading messages which are about this subject and I have found no one receiving a satisfactory response or fix. Surely since this is not just me or one or two others but a major problem for many that someone would know the actual fix And if you dont, could you find out first before giving directions to things which wont work I have had this laptop for 2 years and it worked very well til the last while. Yes, my warranty is expired - my business wasnt doing well enough at the time to renew it. There was an offer at the time to get a sizeable amount off to renew but when I did go to renew, it had expired Although it was still showing active. I was going to call HP for a walk through of possibly changing settings to help but found they charge but craftily do not tell how much they charge so I didnt want to get involved in that as I cant. I would truly expect to find expert advice here, otherwise would it be sanctioned by HP I am trying to keep my business afloat but I spend more time trying to get re-connected than anything else My time is just as valuable as anyone elses. I have unticked the box for power management, I have reinstalled the driver. Would my battery have anything at all to do with it It is dead and I have to keep the power plugged in to use laptop. Oh, and I looked at properties for this driver I was given the link to in this forum and the Driver HP gave me it says it is for Windows XP service pack 3 sp77548 Is this driver really that old and still in use I had the same driver in my old Dell (which I miss so much) that I bought in 2006 But here it is 11 years later and I have the same wifi adapter in my 2015 HP. I cant even get back my original driver as I was instructed to uninstall it when I installed this one. I am begging for someone who really knows what to do to answer.
